LA GABBIA
Animals, above all, cats and dogs, have always inhabited my fantasy…maybe because I have never had one and I realize only now how nice it would have been to have had a cat or dog as a friend…
Maybe I have never possessed an animal because I thought that these creatures of God had the right to be free and never kept in a cage…
It’s for this reason that I have always designed dogs and cats free and balancing precariously on roofs and chimneys...but this is life and is also their life and that’s fine by me!
Gli animali, soprattutto gatti e cagnolini, hanno sempre abitato la mia fantasia…forse perché non ne ho mai avuto nessuno e mi rendo conto solo ora quanto sarebbe stato bello avere come amico un cagnolino o un gattone…
Forse non ho mai posseduto nessun animale perché ho pensato che queste creature di Dio avessero il diritto di non avere nessun padrone, né tantomeno una gabbia come casa...
È per questo che quasi sempre disegno cani e gatti liberi e in bilico sui tetti e camini, ma questa è la vita ed è anche la loro vita, e va bene cosi!
