THE CITY OF BUTTERFLIES
LA CITTÀ DELLE FARFALLE
Whilst I was drawing what I thought was the city of butterflies, without warning, it was as if the paper opened up to leave space for another paper…
A sunset appeared with an island in the distance, from which came many butterflies….but they weren’t butterflies, they were angels flying above fantastic cities…they took me by the hand and took me with them towards a marvelous island full of light…it was the “City of Angels”.
Mentre stavo disegnando quello che pensavo fosse la città delle farfalle, all’improvviso era come se il foglio sul quale stavo disegnando si aprisse per lasciare spazio ad un altro foglio…
È apparso un tramonto con un isola lontana e da lì arrivavano tante farfalle…ma non erano farfalle, erano angeli e volavano sopra città fantastiche…mi hanno preso per mano e portato con sé verso un’isola meravigliosa e piena di luce…era la “città degli Angeli”.
