Below, like weeds and as strong as the tips of swords, skyscrapers and huge buildings grow up, pushing away our history and our traditions….the past, recent and more distant memories and affections.
But tradition with its ancient inhabitants resist and push away with all their strength the ‘advancing modernity’.
An old man and child, with their shoulders to the future, observe the past and the old man, with patience and without haste, tells the boy how important history, traditions and memories are…he must never forget this!
Come l’erbaccia è forte, come punte di spade, grattacieli e grandi palazzi crescono in alto, decisi a scalzare via le nostre storie e le nostri tradizioni…il passato, i ricordi e tutti i nostri affetti.
Ma la tradizione, con i suoi abitanti antichi, si oppone spingendo via con tutta la forza che può il ‘nuovo che avanza’.
Un vecchio ed un bambino, con alle spalle il futuro, osservano il passato, e il vecchio, con pazienza e senza fretta, racconta al bambino quanto sono importanti la storia, le tradizioni e i ricordi….. e si raccomanda di non dimenticare mai!
